The Backyard Bar

My partner and I had the best Sunday Brunch today @ The Backyard Bar. We were welcomed by the friendly staff as we entered the front gate. We were led to the front porch where each table was prepared beautifully. The atmosphere is so relaxed and inviting. We started off with Bloody Mary's and people watched. As we made our way into the dining room, the smell of food was heavenly. Everything was prepared to perfection and the choices were all so tempting. I sampled a little of everything. The best touch was when the chef came out of the kitchen to make sure that everyone was satisfied. Pure perfection.

Finally, a "Sunday Brunch" venue that I, and I am sure YOU, have been waiting for. Words cannot describe the overall pleasure I, and my friends experienced at The Backyard Bar, this past Sunday. My Entourage and I felt like the we had, "passed out and gone to Heaven!". Sitting there on the front porch of a Historical plantation "style" house, being serviced by a staff that knew our every need and want to savoring the "non-stereotypical" brunchmenu. On the menu for day, which changes weekly, we enjoyed grilled salmon, over coconut milk drenched broccoli and cauliflower, spicy chicken drums with a 3-bean ragout to a freshly made mango mousse with raspberry glaze. There are other foods as well.
Needless to say, My friends and I have already booked our reservations for next week's food extravaganza. You should think about it.

I first stopped by the Backyard Bar for a drink with a co-worker. I also had the "Chicken Sticks". Incredible. I also found Melanie and Shawn to be very knowledgeable about wines. I noticed they had a "Sunday Brunch on the Front Porch", I made a reservation and brought some friends. I have been back three times for that brunch on the porch. Each time the food was exceptional, the service great and the atmosphere wonderful. $22.95 for an amazing buffet with a complimentary drink. Can't beat it. The Chef also came out to ask us how everything was. It's very Key West and oh so cozy. Check it out..you don't want to miss out, I think you will be so very pleasently surprised!!
