PISTACHE is a Parisian-style French bistro with a Mediterranean twist. It serves simple, delicious meals made with fresh, local and imported products. It seats 200 people and is open seven days a week for all meal periods. Prices are moderate and the recipes nutritionally healthy. Service is casual and efficient. The atmosphere is upbeat with a definite European flair. The interior is reminiscent of the Art Nouveau, which defined most brasseries and bistros opened in the 1920's Paris. It boasts cozy seating with numerous red leather banquettes, a full bar and giant antique mirrors. The restaurant has a feel of "Always been there". It is classic, retro-modern and sophisticated but unpretentious. The outdoor patio overlooks Centennial Park, the Fountains and the Intracoastal Waterway. It is shaded with large umbrellas and seats 30 people in a Riviera-like setting.

Pistache
lunch and dinner
7:30 a.m.-midnight Sunday to Thursday
7:30 a.m.-1 a.m. Friday and Saturday.
The crepes were cold, the bartenders were arrogant and rude, the wait staff were disorganized, and the drinks were overpriced. I've been there twice, the first time and the last time. Don't waste your money.
I recently had dinner with my wife at Pistache and everything went very well. We have received a very friendly welcome and have been served in a timely manner. But the most important part of the dinner was the food which proved to be of an excellent quality, a balanced combination of French classics and innovative courses. The dinner was really pleasant, taking advantage of the ambiance of the bistrot. I strongly recommend Pistache to anybody interested in discovering the French cuisine in a casual but chic atmosphere.
Pistache has little to do with french cuisine. The bread is American, dense, industrial dough, nothing that resembles baguette. The frites are semi-soggy fries that are better done at McDonalds. The decor is dull, smacks of cheap, and lacks the brass and polished finish one often sees in French bistros. Because of the lack of soft materials, the restaurant and bar are very noisy. The menu is overpriced for the mediocrity that is passed off as French food. Try eating in Miami instead!

Pistache's menu offers lovely appetizers -- salads, escargots, foie gras and onion soup. Follow that with fish, fowl or beef. They also offer tantalizing side dishes, a great wine list and brunch and lunch choices. Come anytime and prepare to be wowed! (Full review)
When the French bistro Pistache bowed a year ago, it seemed to have a winning formula, aiming to bring a flavor of Paris to downtown West Palm Beach. But there was one big problem: The food didn’t click. And beyond that, the atmosphere lacked a certain je ne sais quoi, as the French might say. (Full review)
There's no doubt that downtown West Palm Beach could use a restaurant like Pistache. (Full review)
