Kravis Center for the Performing Arts

There are 2,193 seats in Dreyfoos Hall; 300 in the Rinker Playhouse; capacity for 1,400 people in the Gosman Amphitheatre; and room for 500 people in the Cohen Pavilion. The center cost $63 million to build. The style of the building is called "formal modernism." The Center hosts more than 800 events each year with an attendance of more than 400,000. A new Cohen Pavilion was unveiled in the fall of 2003 as part of a $31 million expansion project. Other improvements include a new lobby for the Rinker Playhouse and additional underground parking.
