The Hunger Games Trilogy, The Harry Potter Series, The Great Gatsby and A Farewell to Arms all have something in common – they are banned books. Come and learn why, and get involved in the discussion as facilitators present these four books in lively interactive dialogues which will cover some of their key messages and why they were banned. Bring a “brown bag” lunch; beverages and desserts will be served. This event is part of Banned and Burned: Literary Censorship and the Loss of Freedom.
