I've lived in Wellington since 1984 and was skeptical about this place as I have seen many restaurants come and go. I have to say I was very impressed with Beef Wellington. I had the lobster bisque which was rich and delicious with plenty of lobster pieces in it. The bread they brought to the table was great too. I had the Beef Wellington which was amazing. It was a nice size filet cooked a perfect medium and lightly encapsulated in nice philo "netting", not completely wrapped in dough making it very light and tasty. The creme brulee was also delicious with some beautiful fresh fruit. They even have a nice craft beer with the Dogfish 60 min IPA on draft. Perfect compliment to all the bold flavors. They have a great summer deal and the atmosphere inside is truly unique and beautiful with the servers and hostesses doing a great job. There is no need to drive into West Palm to get a steak anymore. Wellington can be quite seasonal so I hope they stay around for many years.

Beef Wellington Steakhouse and Social Club inhabits a space that once served as a movie theater. The old Silver Screen Cinema closed nearly two years ago, but the cinematic essence of the space has not been lost.
It soars in the form of a lifelike oak tree - which is lifelike because it was living not so very long ago. The steak house's owners "rescued" the tree from a construction site on Forest Hill Boulevard.
"They cut it apart and banded it together again," general manager Cheryl McNamee told me days after I dined at the restaurant. "And they attached 80,000 little silk ficus leaves to it." (Full review)
