There is an immediate sense of cosmopolitan sophistication in the décor - green walls offset by white-clothed tables and bold red chairs gives the small space a vibrant feel. Black-and-white prints line the walls and - in the first of many classy touches - four widescreen TVs are showing a classic film. It's a hip dinner-and-a-movie idea that lets you watch while you explore the wonders of the contemporary Italian menu.

Evo
We had reservations at another restaurant for our anniversary dinner, and at the last minute they called to tell us they were closing for the season. A friend had recommended Evo so we called to see if they could fit us in. Luckily there was a table, and we are so happy they could fit us in! What a charming little place. The decor is as described in the above review -- sophisticated, with vibrant red walls. Very classy.
The food was just delicious and everything had that "freshly picked from the garden" taste. The portions are more than ample. Neither my husband nor I could finish our main course. I had the yellow tail snapper that was one of the specials of the evening, and it was moist and flavorful with berries and arugula topping the filets. My husband had a rigatoni dish that he raved over.
The service was most attentive with everything appearing in a timely fashion by a delightful young woman with a winning smile.
This place is now one we will return to again and again. I'm so glad my friend turned me on to it, and I will do the same to others looking for a fine place to dine.
From the huge shrimp with cheesy risotto to the papperdelle porcini-mushroom pasta to the arugula salad with toasted pine nuts and fresh tomatoes that tastes like its just been picked from a garden, the food is amazing. Nice wine list - and on Thursdays, wine tastings are free, you can just sit back, relax and have a few sips while you enjoy this really nice atmosphere and wonderful cuisine. I will definitely be back, again and again.

From the outside, Evo does not look like one of the more adventurous new dining experiences in Palm Beach County. It occupies a shoebox-like space in a strip mall on the northern edge of Tequesta that has been home to at least two other traditional Italian restaurants in recent years.
Step inside Evo, however, and a transformation takes place. (Full review)
