1, 2, 3 Soleil is an installation by artist Esmeralda Kosmatopoulos composed of 3 white inflatable traffic cones varying in size from 6’ to 14’ tall.
Enlarged in scale, these ghost-white inflatables loom large over the city streets. Their soft authoritarian presence is both a comfort and a warning signal. These large-scale replicas of existent concrete forms, rebooted as air-filled fantasies, disorient and realign our perceptions of the everyday.
