Meet the Artist Reception on Saturday, January 19th at 6-8 pm.
Abling's work is figurative but with a different twist. She uses her palette knife to create exciting imagery of different themes. She paints images with her oil medium of boats, cars, musical instruments, chefs and adult beverages. While her work is figurative, Abling rarely includes people in any of her work because she feels the viewer can be more easily invited into her work without the interference of people within the painting.
