Tom Dalton is a native South Floridian and grew up in Palm Beach County. He is a singer/songwriter and guitarist and has performed his songs from Florida to California receiving critical acclaim as a songwriter and performer. Tom is also a board certified music therapist and a licensed mental health counselor and has used music to help people of all ages.
Working as a music therapist for over 20 years, Tom has used his music therapy skills to help a variety of people. He is a music therapist at VITAS Innovative Hospice Care of Broward and specializes in working with hospice patients and their families. He has worked with children, adolescents and adults with a variety of needs using the power of music to help transform their lives. Tom has worked with people with developmental disabilities, Autism, Downs Syndrome, Attention Deficit Disorder, Bipolar Disorder, Alzheimer's Disease, cancer, traumatic brain injury, learning disabilities and mental illness. He also specializes in helping children and families who have experienced grief and loss in their lives from the death of a loved one.
Tom's special guest artist is Singer/Songwriter, Amy Carol Webb - defined, is "beloved song weaver." She is passionate, powerful, and poignant. She's the girl next door and no ordinary woman. Born and reared in Oklahoma, Amy traces her heritage back to Native Americans through her Great-Grandmothers who settled Oklahoma when it was still a Territory. Amy's music reflects the same pioneering spirit, tenacity, integrity and never-quit grit. Tom's 6-piece band includes some of south florida's top musicians including Rick Rossano on Bass and vocals, Paul Feurer on electric guitar, Kim Wendt on keyboards and vocals, Bill Supino on drums and vocalists Ashley Carol and Sarah Clark. The songs chronicle Dalton's work over the years and celebrate the lives of those he has worked with and how music has had a transforming affect on their lives.
