3 G's Gourmet Deli & Restaurant

Growing up a NY Jew there was one thing u could always count on, eating deli once a week for dinner and or having it as sunday brunch without fail.
I spent my childhood through my early twenties doing this with and w/o family week in week out, u just were use to eating Jewish Deli food.
Even when we vacationed in Fla. we did the same thing except in bigger deli's and with lots of family.
When I moved to So jersey thatwas all over because we don't have any Jewish Deli's or any place to get this kind of food. So now Im alot older and spend part of my winters back in Fla. So the first wk I arrive I can't wait to have this food that I miss.
In Delray beach there are two places that are fairly big in Jewish Deli,
3g's Deli and Poppies. I won't comment on both but one I must.
3G's is known for good food but u better prepare to wait, be pushed and stand in line like a sardine for atleast 45min. regardless the time of year, however the winter when all the Jewish "snowbirds" flock to Delray and the sorrounding area it' the worst. Ive been back to Fla. a few weeks and have been there 3 times so far. Last night was one of th worst. People pushing you steping on your feet with there cane, walkers etc. is part of what I went through, not tomention even after these people put thier names and party number in they feel the need to get back in line hold other's up who have not put thier names in yet just to "check" on thier table. This is so ignorrant and annoying I can't say enough. What is the point? What r u going to change? The answer is nothing. They just are so selfish and probhaven't eaten in the past two hrs.so they have to annoy everyone around them. You can't blame the deli for thatbut what u can blame them for is the fact that 3G's will not put two people at the hostess desk to help deal with the crowd. Y I don't know but they should pay attention to all the people complaining about the fact that someone could be taking thier names while someone else seats the ready tables, ths is just simple common sense. 3G's WAKE UP AND SHOW YOU'RE CUSTOMER'S THAT YOU CARE ABOUT ALL THE AGGRAVATION!!!!!!!!!
